About Madison Lamb | Our Founder

I am Madison Lamb, a writer, photographer, videographer, published author, media journalist, and the founder of High-Resolution Writing, LLC. Based in Southern California, I help people communicate what matters through thoughtful writing, photography, and video. As a published author and journalist featured regularly on TMZ Live, I combine media, storytelling, and digital strategy to create content that informs, connects, and resonates.

My passion for storytelling began at 12 years old with my first laptop and eventually led to a Bachelor’s degree in Media Communications from Full Sail University. In 2021, I founded High-Resolution Writing to create work rooted in authenticity, connection, and meaningful communication.

My work consists of writing and photography and videography. Whether capturing a home, a business, a brand, or a community, my goal remains the same: to highlight the details that make people care.

From Silence to Strength: My Journey as a Survivor of Gun Violence

June 3, 2024 I was shot in the neck.

I’ll never forget that moment—the shock, the pain, and the overwhelming fear. In a split second, my world was turned upside down. It could have been the end of my story, but instead, it became the turning point for my life.

For years, I lived in the shadows, silently carrying my struggles. As an introvert who has navigated mental health challenges, I kept my pain and fears to myself. I didn’t think anyone would understand. I thought I had to face everything on my own. But after the shooting, something inside me shifted. I realized how fragile life is and how important it is to live authentically.

Being a survivor of gun violence has taught me many lessons, but the most important one is this: You don’t have to do it alone. No matter how tough things get, there is strength in vulnerability, and there is power in connection. After what I went through, I chose to speak up, reach out, and build a community that lifts me up when I need it most.

Starting a business, like High-Resolution Writing, has never been easy. And networking, as an introvert, has often felt overwhelming. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned in the months since that shooting, it’s that life is too short to live quietly or hide away. I am choosing to live out loud—brave, visible, and unapologetically myself.

To anyone who feels isolated, whether because of violence, mental health struggles, or anything else, know this: You are not alone. There is power in connection, strength in asking for help, and healing in living authentically.

I’m here today, sharing my story, because I believe that we are all capable of more than we realize. My journey is just beginning. And I’m choosing to walk this path with courage, hope, and the conviction that my story, and yours, can make a difference.
